Laser Welding 3D CO2 Process
Laser Welding, TRS can offer 3D 7 axis Laser Welding we decided when we were looking to purchase a laser machine that we would need an edge over the competition, so we looked at the feasibility of taking the standard 5/6 axis laser machine and adding the 7th axis. Once we had worked out the feasibility and actually installed the machine, the flexibility it gave is unequalled.
This 7 axis combined with our knowledge and commitment to quality gives us the edge over our competitors, we have an ongoing commitment to keep improving, which means you are always going to get the best technology and service. We can take your CAD data and convert it into a laser program using this information, we can work out the best working scenarios for your project, eliminating costly waste and mistakes before we start, we also use this for quoting so we can give you a very accurate costing and delivery times for your project.
Laser welding is a form of welding known as fusion welding, even though we have 7 axis we can use our machine to join aluminium, titanium and many other speciality materials, we can also spot welds on selective areas or linear continuous seam welds to using different material sheets. You will have some advantages in using our laser welding system, given below is a list of advantages that you will have, by working with us.
Advantages of Laser Welding:
- Achievability of deep and narrow welds in most of the materials
- Increased travel speeds compared to the conventional welding
- Ability to weld smaller and thinner components compared to manual welding
- Low heat input for an added layer of effectiveness
- Minimal distortion
- Greater joint design flexibility
- Speciality Materials Welded
